Half Moon Bay

Triggered by Hurricane Donna which ravaged parts of the Turks and Caicos in 1960, Half Moon Bay is actually a sandbar enclosed between Water Cay and Little Water Cay. Accessible only by boat or kayak this secluded beach, located only 15-minutes from Providenciales, was once a channel between islands. Now fully filled in and dotted with vegetation, it is a spectacular boating destination that feels like a world away.

The shallow turquoise sea around Providenciales is known as the Caicos Bank. Here, in the tidal flats and shallow cays, is the ideal environment for conch, bonefish and lobster. This mesmerizing gin-clear water with soft sandy bottom is the highlight of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Steep drop offs lead to excellent dive sites, walls, and fantastic game fishing. Boating adventures in the Caicos Bank reveal the magical beauty of the islands.

Fort George Cay

Also known as Shell Island this sliver of an island straddles the waterway between Pine Cay and Dellis Cay. Uninhabited, it is a welcoming destination for shell enthusiasts, solitude seekers and those who simply wish to explore an entire island within an hour. Tiny, picturesque and surrounded by tranquil shallow waters, Fort George Cay is a far cry from its early historical role as a gun battery site for Loyalist planters set out to defend the islands from pirates and other invaders. A perfect spot for a day cruise, picnic, swim and for soaking up some Caribbean sunshine.

Pine Cay Reef

Resplendent with vibrant carpets of coral and schools of fish, the reef off Pine Cay is an amazing underwater playground for novice and seasoned snorkelers. Bob over large brain corals and elegant tree corals, or dive down for a closer look at the sea creatures that call this marvelous oasis their home.
